Within this process, I decided to focus on light and dark/black and white as this comes to mind when I think of loss. Loss can feel like an overwhelming shadow of 'what once was' blinded to the 'what could be'. What I've grown to understand is where there is loss there is also gain. Loss isn't just full of dark moments or bad times, but it can also be filled with vital moments of growth, learning curves and sometimes even light. These images represent Lost and Found, portraying a journey of losing oneself before finding something new. This process was challenging and very rewarding, as it allowed me to reflect and use my personal experience to create something real.

About
I am a Visual Artist who is interested in using creativity as a healing tool. I currently use my creative expression to document or bring attention to depression, body image, anxiety, and loneliness.
Photography is a new tool I've recently fallen in love with and an art form I'm still very new to. Over the last year since starting this new venture, I've found being able to visually capture my story helps me bring clarity within a world of uncertainty, especially when living in a fast-paced society. In the future, I want to combine my love of photography, dance and wellbeing to empower and support people.
