During the creative process of writing the poem I had found how angry I was feeling with all the miscommunication that was coming out not about the coronavirus but how accessible it was for me to understand. The graphs and the scientific speeches that were in the first lockdown coming at you thick and fast and even now it seems like every 2 or 3 days there is a news briefing, and it gets too much. Even when you just want to watch the news and see what is happening in the world, the first thing that is on is about the virus.

The thing I am most grateful for during the creative process is that I have my love of writing back again and to learn new ways of working such as recording myself speaking to camera first then listening and then writing it down. The question I want the audience to think about is what has been inaccessible during the pandemic and how can you make it accessible?
