NHS Engagement Lead (Freelance)
Theatre Témoin is seeking to appoint an NHS Engagement Lead to lead the company’s Key Worker Engagement Strand for NHS Yarns, a project partnering culturally diverse key workers and playwrights in the South East to co-create a series of short plays which will be showcased at the Mercury Theatre in 2021. This is a short consulting contract (5 days @ £200 p/d); and we’re looking to engage 10 individual key workers and 1 or 2 NHS Trust organisational partners in that period. The ideal consultant will be well-networked within at least 1 NHS Trust in the South East and be experienced in brokering cross-sector relationships across the Arts and Healthcare industries.

Key Information
Job title: NHS Engagement Lead (freelance)
Rate of pay: £200 per day (total contract: £1000 inclusive of VAT)
Reporting to: Artistic Director
Location: Company is based in SE and the project will be based at the Mercury Theatre in Colchester, but we can work with Key workers throughout the South East of England. NHS Engagement Lead will be working from home.
Working hours & Date Range: 5 days (7.5 hours p/d) spread over December 2020 and January 2021.
Outputs / Aims: Engage 10 individual SE NHS key workers from culturally diverse backgrounds, pairing them with playwrights to co-create projects. Engage 2-3 NHS trusts to come onboard as organisational project parters.
Employment type: This is a self-employed position. You are responsible for paying any tax and NI contributions.
Other: The NHS Engagement Lead will be required to provide their own phone and laptop.
